Well, we knew the Sharks had to do something dramatic after their non-performance in the 2009 playoffs. Today, they traded Jonathan Cheechoo and Milan Michalek to the Ottawa Senators for Dany Heatley and a 7th round draft pick. Announcement from the Sharks website here.

Torchwood Season 4

According to a couple of sources (Filmshaft and the San Francisco Examiner), Torchwood season 4 has now been confirmed. No other details at this time.

Bob May, who played Environmental Control Robot on the "Lost in Space" TV series, passed away yesterday; he was 69.

Hi Everyone!

(I know, it's been a long time since I last posted here. Seemed appropriate.)

A once in a lifetime opportunity makes its annual return to San Francisco this weekend!

The RoboGames (formerly RobOlympics) will be held this weekend at Fort Mason in San Francisco. The events will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 10:00 PM. Directions and the schedule of events are available on their web site.

Last Thursday was our wedding anniversary and we decided to celebrate with a little weekend get-away. We had dinner Saturday evening at Stacey's Cafe in Pleasanton. Coincidentally, Saturday was a big night for Stacey's owner.
